Techman India

We are located right on the main road in Phase II of the Industrial Area here in Chandigarh. It’s at number 163, and if you know the area, you know it gets pretty loud with all the trucks and workshops around us. It is not the kind of place where you’ll find glass buildings or shiny lobbies, but it works for what we do. The shop floor is usually a bit messy because we are always in the middle of some project or another. Techman India has been in this spot for quite a bit, and we’ve seen the neighbors change over the years. Most days involve a lot of grease, tools, and figuring out why something isn't working right. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone sitting at a front desk in a suit. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone in work clothes busy with a machine. The main road outside is always congested, especially during the shift changes, so we’ve learned to time our arrivals. It’s a practical space. We keep our supplies stacked where we can reach them and try to stay organized, even when it feels impossible. Coffee comes from the small stall down the lane, and that's usually the highlight of the afternoon. We just focus on the work at hand and try to get things out the door on time. It is a humble way to earn a living in the city.
