Go Techie

Down here at Plot No. 1001A in the Industrial Area, we run Go Techie. It’s a bit of a different vibe than the residential parts of the city. Everything around here is about making things or fixing things. We spend most of our time staring at screens or taking apart hardware to see why it isn't behaving. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and trying to find solutions for people who are having a bad day with their gadgets. The shop is full of cables, half-finished repairs, and spare parts that we might need one day. We aren't the type to wear suits or anything; we’re usually in jeans with a bit of dust on our shoes from the industrial road outside. Some days are slow and we just clean the workbench, but other days everyone seems to have a problem at the same time. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s just a waste of money. The air conditioner in the back room makes a weird rattling sound, but it keeps the servers cool so we leave it alone. It’s a practical sort of place. We’ve been in this plot for a few years now and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners nearby. If someone’s internet goes down or a laptop dies, they usually head over to see us. It is just the way we do things here in the industrial sector, keeping machines alive one at a time.
