Step In Dance Academy

Step In Dance Academy is located in Sector 30, specifically in the 48 area. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part. The building we are in has been around for decades. You can see the wear on the steps as you come up to our floor. We have a pretty large room that we use for everything. It’s got some mats in one corner and a rack for bags. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or anything like that. I usually come in thirty minutes early to mop the floor myself. It gives me a bit of peace before the noise starts. The kids come in after their school hours and the place gets chaotic pretty fast. They leave their water bottles and shoes everywhere. I tried to organize them once but gave up after a week. It’s better this way, more natural. The walls are a pale yellow color that I don't really like, but it was like that when I took the lease. We have one big window that lets in a lot of light during the day, so we rarely turn on the overhead lights until sunset. It’s a very basic setup. No reception area or fancy lounge. People just come in, do their thing, and head home. Sometimes we have a small tea break if it’s a long rehearsal. It’s just how things go around here. No one is ever in a rush to leave.
