If you find yourself in Sector 17 near Ankur Cross Road, we’re in SCO 12. It’s right in the thick of things, so there is always something going on outside the window. The space is a bit rectangular, which makes it interesting when we have a full class trying to do a line dance. We end up curving around the corners more often than not. The walls are covered in some old photos and a calendar that’s usually a month behind. We aren’t really focused on the decor, to be honest. Most of our effort goes into keeping the floor clean and making sure the fan in the corner doesn't rattle too loudly. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when the shops nearby are closing up. You can hear the shutters coming down while we’re finishing our last set. We have a small cupboard where everyone keeps their spare clothes and water bottles, and it’s always a bit of a mess in there. There’s no big sign out front, just a small board that we put out when we’re open. It’s a practical setup for people who live nearby and just want to get some exercise through dance. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the basics and a lot of repetition until we get it right, or at least close enough. That's just how the place works.
