Bharat School Of Music

The Bharat School Of Music is located over in Sector 16 on the Halol Tol Road in Jarod, Vadodara. It’s a bit of a distance out for some people but we are right there at number 195. It gets quite loud here sometimes with all the different instruments going at once. You might hear someone trying to learn the harmonium in one corner while someone else is working on their singing or a different instrument in another room. It’s not a fancy conservatory or anything like that. It’s just a place where people from the Jarod area come to learn some music. The Halol Tol Road is usually busy with trucks and cars going past, so there is always a bit of background hum from the traffic outside. We have a few rooms set up with basic stuff for the students. Some of the kids have been coming here for a long time and we have seen them grow up. It’s nice to have music around all day, even if it’s just someone practicing the same scale over and over again. The building itself is pretty simple and we don’t spend much on decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the instruments are in tune. It’s a local spot and everyone in Sector 16 knows where we are if they want to hear some tunes or start learning an instrument themselves.
