Speciality Slates & Tiles

Our place is located at No- 24/8 in the Industrial Area Phase II. It’s mostly just a practical space where we keep all our slates and tiles organized. Being in the industrial area means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us, which we have gotten used to over the years. We spend a lot of our mornings unloading shipments and making sure the stacks are stable and safe. It isn't the kind of work where you stay clean, that’s for sure. We handle a lot of different types of stone, and each one has its own weight and feel. Some of the slates are quite heavy and need careful handling so they do not chip. We are not really into big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they are already working in the industrial zone or someone told them where we are. We just stay busy with the day-to-day tasks of running a tile yard. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with paperwork and samples, but we know where everything is. It is a simple operation. We like the grit of this area. It feels like real work is happening all around us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the inventory we have on hand. If a truck shows up late, we stay late to get it sorted. That is just how it goes here in Phase II and we don't mind it much.
