Prakash Marbals

Prakash Marbals has been around in Dhannas for quite a while now. You can find us right on the Main Road, pretty close to PGI. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic going by, but it works for us. We aren't a big, fancy company with a polished office. Our place is more of a working yard where we keep all the marble slabs. Some days it gets real dusty, and other days it’s just the noise of the trucks. We handle the stone every day, moving things around and helping people find what they need for their houses. It’s heavy work, and the sun can be really hot out there on the road. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few workers who know how to handle the slabs without breaking them. People from the village and nearby areas stop in when they are building something new. We just show them what we have in stock. We don’t try to talk anyone into anything. The stone is what it is. Sometimes we have a lot of one kind, and other times we’re waiting for a delivery. We’ve seen the area around PGI grow a lot lately. There are more buildings now than when we started. We just keep doing our thing, selling marble and making sure the shop stays open for whoever needs us. It’s a simple life, just dealing with stone and neighbors.
