Smn Infocom

Smn Infocom is situated in Sector 42, right on Gaushala Road at number 49. It’s a small tech setup where we deal with all kinds of computer and internet stuff. The office is usually a mess of ethernet cables and old monitors that people left for scrap. Gaushala Road can get pretty crowded with cows and traffic, so getting to the shop sometimes takes longer than you'd expect. I spend most of my day looking at screens or crimping wires. It’s not a very big room, so the heat from the servers makes it stay warm even in the winter. We have a few desks and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. People from Sector 42 come in when their Wi-Fi stops working or they can't get their printers to behave. We don't have a formal dress code, just t-shirts and jeans. It’s a relaxed place, maybe a bit too relaxed according to some, but we get the repairs done. We’ve been at number 49 for a few years now and the landlord is a decent guy. Sometimes the internet goes down in the whole building and we just sit around and talk until it comes back up. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just fix the tech problems that walk through the door. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. There is always a spare keyboard lying around.
