If you look right across from the sports complex in Sector 7, you will see our shop at number 164. It’s a small place, but we’ve been here in Sector 7 C for a good while. Being near the sports complex means we see a lot of people coming by after their morning runs or games. Usually, they have a broken watch strap or a cracked glass from being active. The shop is filled with all sorts of watches, from the big ones you hang on the wall to the small ones people wear on their wrists. We have a small stool behind the counter where most of the work happens. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through a magnifying glass. The light in here is pretty good because of the front window, which helps when you’re trying to put a tiny pin back into a metal band. We keep a lot of different straps in boxes under the counter. Sometimes people just want to change the look of their watch, so we spend time swapping leather for metal or plastic. The shop isn't fancy. It has old wooden cabinets and a floor that’s seen a lot of feet over the years. We keep the place clean, but it feels like a workshop more than a store. Most of our neighbors are regulars who stop by just to say hello or check the time on our big clock. It's a nice little spot to spend the day working. We keep a few chairs for people to sit while we fix their bands.
