Namdhari Watch Co is tucked into Sco-20 Sector 17 / D Sector 17. Being in Sector 17 means we get a lot of foot traffic, but we try to keep our little corner pretty quiet so we can actually focus. The shop isn't very large, but it’s packed with shelves full of boxes and old watch cases. We’ve been here at SCO-20 for years, and the stairs up to the door are starting to show their age. Inside, the air is usually still, and you can hear the faint ticking of a dozen different clocks if it’s quiet enough. We don’t go for any of those modern minimalist looks you see in the malls. Our place is full of character, which is a nice way of saying we have a lot of stuff everywhere. Every drawer has a purpose, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in from the street. We handle a lot of different brands, but we don't really care about the names as much as how the internal parts are holding up. Usually, people come in because they’ve dropped their watch or it just stopped working for no reason. We take a look, give them a price, and get to it. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have fancy uniforms or scripted greetings. We just talk to people like neighbors and try to get their watches back on their wrists as quickly as the parts allow.
