National Watch House

National Watch House is located at Sco-1031 in Manohar Park, right in the Gidc Industrial Estate of Sector 22. It is a bit of a trek for some people to get here, but being in the industrial zone means we see a lot of workers every day. The shop is small, and the air is always quiet except for the constant ticking of several dozen clocks on the walls. We spend hours hunched over our small benches using those magnifying loupes. Replacing tiny batteries and fixing small gears takes up most of our time. The shelves are lined with watches that people have left with us for repair. Some of them have been sitting there for months. We have a glass counter where we keep the newer pieces for sale, but the back area is where the real work happens. It is a bit cluttered with specialized tools and tiny screws that are very easy to lose. We have been here at Manohar Park long enough to know the names of most people who walk through the door. The lighting has to be kept very bright so we can see the tiny parts we are working on. Sometimes the glare is a bit much. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the trade well. It is honest work, even if it is hard on the eyes.
