Regee Garden Tools

The shop is right near the post office on Premchand Nagar Road, so we get a lot of people passing by who just need a simple spade or a watering can. It’s a busy spot in Vastrapur. We started Regee Garden Tools because there wasn't much around here for folks who actually like getting their hands in the dirt. My desk is usually covered in catalogs and some old receipts that I haven't filed yet. The shelves are packed pretty tight from floor to ceiling. If you walk in, you’ll see the shears are on the left and the heavy tillers are way in the back because they’re too heavy to move every day. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s hot, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is hidden. If you’re looking for a specific type of pruner, it might take a minute to find the exact one in the back room, but we usually have it. Sector 34 is a good place to be, even if the traffic gets a bit much around five o'clock. Most of the time, we’re just sitting here drinking tea and waiting for the next person to come in with a broken rake handle or a need for some new potting soil. It isn’t fancy, but the roof doesn't leak anymore and the tools are solid enough for any backyard.
