Ys Chennai Traders

Ys Chennai Traders operates out of Ibrahim Street. Our address is No.38, though it’s also known as New No.72. We are up on the 2nd floor, which keeps us a little bit away from the main bustle of the street below. Ibrahim Street is always packed with people and vehicles, so being one floor up gives us a bit of breathing room. Our office and storage space is pretty simple. We have shelves for the goods we trade and a couple of desks for the paperwork. It’s not a fancy setup, but it’s been working for us for quite a while. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the business. Trading can be a bit unpredictable, with some days being very slow and others being a total rush. We don't use any polished language or marketing slogans. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. Being in this part of the city means we are right in the middle of everything. We’ve gotten used to the stairs and the narrow hallways of the building. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to do our jobs well and be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s just us here on the second floor of Ibrahim Street. Most days involve a lot of checking lists and packing things up.
