Ranjeet Watch House is over at B-26 Sec-22D. We’ve been here in Sector 22 for quite a long time now. It isn’t a very large place, just a simple shop where we spend our days looking at tiny parts and gears. Most mornings I open up the shutters and let the air in. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so I have a small fan that rattles on the shelf behind me. People around here know me as the person who fixes their watches when the hands stop moving. I don't use any fancy machines, just the same hand tools I’ve had for years. Some of them are getting a bit worn out but they still work fine for what I need. Usually, it’s just someone needing a new battery or a link taken out of a metal strap because it’s too loose on their wrist. I try to get things done while they wait, but if it’s more complicated, I tell them to come back in a few days. The shop has a lot of old boxes stacked in the corners. It’s not the neatest place, but I know where everything is kept. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or talk about the local news. I like being part of this street. Sector 22 feels like home to me and this shop is where I’ll likely be for many more years, just sitting at my bench.
