If you ever find yourself at the Modern Housing Complex in Chandigarh, you might come across us. Quelle Softwares Private Limited is up on the top floor of H.NO. 5012/3. It’s a bit of a climb, but the view is decent and it keeps us away from the street noise. We’re a small software team that’s been working from this spot for a while now. The office is pretty cramped because we have a lot of equipment squeezed into a few rooms, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent staring at screens and arguing over how to write a piece of code correctly. We don't always agree, but we usually figure it out by the end of the day. Working in the Modern Housing Complex feels a bit different than being in a regular office building. It’s more like being part of a community. We see the same neighbors every day, and it feels more personal. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the doorbell rings, one of us just gets up and answers it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We’re just here to do the work we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is breathing down our necks, and other times we leave early if the work is done. It’s a flexible way to live.
