Quarkcity India Pvt Ltd operates out of House No. 2348 in Sector 20C, Chandigarh. It’s a pretty calm part of the city, which is helpful when we need to get through a lot of paperwork without being distracted. The house itself is just a regular building on the street, but inside we have all our equipment and files organized so we can stay productive. We don’t waste any money on expensive decor or fancy furniture for the lobby. We would much rather spend that on better tools for the job, since we spend most of our daylight hours sitting here. The day usually starts quite early, and we tend to work until the sun goes down. Sector 20C has a nice vibe, and being at 2348 makes us feel more like we are part of a community than just a business. We know the people living nearby and the shopkeepers down the road. It’s a very human way to go about things. We don't use any corporate talk or have a long chain of command. If something needs fixing, we just fix it ourselves. Our files are stored in basic metal cabinets and we sit around a simple table to discuss what to do next. We aren't trying to look like a giant corporation. We just want to do our work well and keep things running from this Chandigarh house.
