Paradise Watch Co is situated at Scf-7, right near the Malikarjuna Temple on Street No 14 in Sector 27. It’s a nice part of town. You can hear the temple bells sometimes when the wind is right and the doors are open. I’ve been in this shop for a good while now. The name "Paradise" was something my uncle came up with years ago, and we just kept it. It’s a small place, mostly taken up by my workbench and the glass cases where I keep some of the watches I’ve fixed. I deal with a lot of people who are just passing by on their way to the temple. They drop off a watch and pick it up on their way back. Most of the work is just routine, like changing a battery or fixing a broken pin in the strap. I have a lot of tools that I’ve collected over the years. Some of them are quite old and have wooden handles that are worn smooth from use. I don't like to rush my work. If a watch needs cleaning, I take the whole thing apart and do it right. People in Sector 27 seem to appreciate that. The shop has a tiled floor that stays cool in the heat. It’s a quiet life, mostly spent looking through a lens at tiny metal pieces. I’m happy with how things are here, just doing honest work.
