P K Traders

Our place, P K Traders, is over in the Industrial Area Phase I, specifically at unit 182/28. If you’ve ever been to Phase I, you know it’s a big grid of warehouses and small units. Our spot is one of those typical industrial units with a heavy iron shutter and a small side door for when we’re just sitting inside working. It’s mostly storage space and a little bit of desk space tucked into the corner. We spend a lot of time moving boxes and checking inventory lists against what came in. The light in here isn't the best, but we have a few big lamps that do the trick. The neighbors are all doing similar things, so there’s always the sound of forklifts or trucks reversing nearby. It’s a very practical environment to work in. We don’t get many random people walking in; it’s usually just the regular vendors or the guys we hire for transport. We keep a small stove in the back for making tea because it’s a long day and there aren’t many shops right next to our unit. The floor is concrete and stays a bit cold in the winter months. We try to keep things as tidy as possible, but in a trading business like this, there’s always a bit of a mess with packing materials and tape. It’s just us doing our thing. We’ve been in Phase I for years and the unit stays the same.
