Malwa Watch Co

Malwa Watch Co is located at 1676 Burail. If you know this area, you know it’s always buzzing with activity. Our shop fits right in with the local vibe. It’s a practical place where the floor is concrete and the shelves are filled with boxes of things we might need one day. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not why people come to see us. They come because their watch stopped ticking or the glass got cracked while they were working. We see a lot of heavy-duty watches here, the kind worn by people who work with their hands. There’s always a bit of dust coming in from the street, so we have to be careful to keep the internal parts of the watches clean while we open them up. The neighbors around us are all running their own small shops, so there’s a nice community feel. We share tea in the afternoons and talk about the news. My workspace is just a simple desk with a bright lamp and a set of tweezers. It’s a simple way to make a living, but there’s something nice about seeing a watch start moving again after it’s been dead for months. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop front in Burail where we show up every morning and wait for the shutters to go up. It's what we do.
