Mikado Engineers

Mikado Engineers is situated in Phase I of the Industrial Area, specifically at number 33. This part of town is always full of trucks and the smell of grease and burnt metal. It is not the kind of place you come for a quiet walk. Our workshop is a bit rough around the edges, with heavy benches and tools scattered about. We spend most of the day working on various engineering projects, mostly involving manual labor and machines that have been with us for years. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil spots, no matter how much we sweep it. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by other people doing similar hard work, so there is always a lot of clanging and banging going on next door. We don't have a fancy office or any marketing people telling us what to say. We just take the orders that come in and try to get the metal shaped or the parts fixed by the time they are needed. It can be exhausting when the heat builds up under the tin roof, but that is just part of the job. Most of the guys here have been working with their hands for a long time, so they know the machines inside out. We don't do anything flashy, just the basic engineering stuff that keeps other businesses running. It is a simple life in a noisy place, and we are fine with that.
