Kazstroy Engg India is based in Chandigarh, over at 1540 Sector 23-B. If you’ve spent any time in Chandigarh, you know how the sectors are laid out. Sector 23-B is a pretty settled area, and we have been operating from here for some time now. Our office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s just a regular building where we handle our engineering projects. We have a few rooms with computers and drawing boards where we look at plans. It’s mostly quiet, except for the usual sounds of a working office. We don't go in for big displays or corporate branding. It’s just us doing our engineering tasks. People who live or work in Sector 23 often walk past our door. We’re just part of the local landscape. The work we do involves a lot of technical details, so we spend a lot of time focused on our screens or paperwork. Sometimes we have tea breaks and talk about the local news or what's happening in the city. It’s a very human way of working. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees; we are a smaller group trying to get things right. Engineering is what we know, and Chandigarh is where we chose to do it. There isn't much more to it than that. We just keep things moving and try to be reliable for the folks who need us.
