We are located at 3353/2 in Sector 45-D of Chandigarh. Like most of the city, the sector is laid out in that very specific grid, which makes it easy to navigate once you get the hang of it. Our office is more like a house that has been turned into a workspace over time. It gives the whole place a bit of a domestic feel, which we actually prefer over a cold office building. There is a small patch of grass out front that we try to keep tidy, though the Chandigarh sun can be pretty harsh on it in May and June. Inside, the rooms are filled with desks and cabinets. We don't have a big sign out front, just the house number that people look for. It is usually pretty quiet around here, except for the occasional street vendor passing by or the sound of cars in the distance. We do all our planning and administrative work for the region from these rooms. The kitchen serves as our meeting room most days because that is where the best light is. We don't worry much about looking fancy for anyone. The furniture is practical and the floors are easy to clean. Most of us take our lunch breaks together or walk down to the nearby market if we need something. It is a very straightforward way to work, without all the bells and whistles you find in the bigger cities. It suits the pace of Chandigarh just fine.
