Electrolux Engineers

Electrolux Engineers is situated in Sector 18, over at Sector 18 C, SCF-25. We mainly deal with fixing appliances and looking at electrical stuff that has stopped working. Being in an SCF means we have a bit of a shopfront and some space to work in the back. It’s often full of dismantled washing machines or fridges that need a new part. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen just about every kind of mechanical failure you can imagine. Sometimes the parts take a few days to arrive, which can be frustrating for everyone, but we try to keep things moving. Our workbench is usually a bit of a mess with tools and wires, but we know where everything is. People from the surrounding sectors usually drop their stuff off, or we head out to their homes if the machine is too big to move. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and testing circuits. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board. The Sector 18 market is a good spot for us because people are always around and there's plenty of activity. We just try to get the machines running again so folks can get back to their daily routines without much fuss. It's honest work and keeps us busy from morning to evening, and we've gotten pretty used to the constant hum of engines being tested in the background.
