We are located at number 19 in the Main Bazaar of Manimajra. It’s a tight spot but it works for what I do. Malwa Watch Company has been part of this street for a long time. People around here know me as the guy who can fix their wristwatches when they stop. I don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just a sturdy desk and my tools. Most of my day is spent sitting still, which is funny because the bazaar outside is so loud and fast. People are shouting, bikes are honking, but in here it’s just the clicking of the tweezers. I get a lot of people bringing in watches they’ve had since they were young. They want them to work again so they can give them to their kids. I do my best. Sometimes the parts are hard to find so I have to search around for old stock. I don't mind the wait. I keep the shop open six days a week. On Sundays, I usually rest my eyes. Working with such small things can be tiring. I've got a lot of old watch faces in jars on the shelf. They aren't worth much, but they look nice. If you’re coming through the bazaar, you’ll find me. Just look for the door with the old clock hanging above it. I’m always there, either fixing a strap or cleaning out some old movement.
