Janta Watch Co

Janta Watch Co is located at 63/64, sitting right there between Sector 16 and Sector 17. It’s a decent-sized space since we have two units, but it still feels small once you fill it up with tools and clock parts. I’ve been working in this area for a long time. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but I never seem to get around to it because I’m busy. Most of my day is spent hunched over the workbench. I fix a lot of wristwatches for the people who live nearby. It’s mostly simple stuff, like fixing a clasp or putting in a new battery. I also get some wall clocks brought in. Those are bigger and easier on my eyes. I like the sound they make when they are all running at once. It’s a bit like a heartbeat in the room. The shop is usually open six days a week. On Sundays, I stay home and rest my back. The neighbors in Sector 16 are good people, and they often stop by to check on their watches or just to pass the time. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website. If you need something, you just come to the shop and talk to me. That’s how we’ve always done it here. It’s a straightforward business, and I plan to keep it that way for as long as I am able to work.
