Institute Of Fine Arts

You can find the Institute Of Fine Arts out in Sector 4 on Kalawad Road. It’s a place that smells like oil paint and turpentine most of the time. We have several rooms filled with easels and half-finished canvases leaning against the walls. The floors have quite a few paint stains on them, but we stopped trying to scrub those out a long time ago. It’s a working space, not a gallery, so things are a bit cluttered. We have some big windows that let in good light during the morning. There isn't a big team here, just a couple of us who look after the place and help out when someone needs a hand with their sketches. Kalawad Road is a good location because it's easy to get to from different parts of the city. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of glossy brochures. People usually just see our sign or hear about us from a neighbor. We have a small area in the corner where we keep our brushes and jars. Sometimes we run out of supplies and have to wait for the next delivery. It’s a relaxed place where you don't have to worry about being perfect. We just like making things and having a spot to do it in. Sector 4 is a nice enough area for what we do. We usually have the radio playing in the background while people work.
