Rekha Babbar’s place is over at 167 Manimajra, specifically on the 7th Main. You have to take the 3rd Cross in Phase III to find us. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find the big tree at the corner, you’re close. I spend my days here handling the small stuff while Rekha deals with the bigger tasks. The office is really just a converted room that feels more like a home than a business. We have a lot of books on the shelves and a clock that chimes every hour, though it’s five minutes fast. The neighborhood is mostly families, so you hear kids playing outside in the afternoons. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, which is fine because we stay busy with the people who already know us. Sometimes we sit out on the small porch to have our lunch and talk about what needs to be finished before the weekend. It’s a very relaxed environment, but the work always gets done. Rekha is very particular about how things are filed, so I spend a lot of time making sure every folder is in the right spot. We don't use any fancy software, just some basic spreadsheets and a lot of pens. It’s a simple way to run things and it keeps us out of trouble. Most days are pretty much the same, but that’s fine with us as long as we keep things moving.
