If you walk around Sector 18 and find number 235, that is where we are. It’s a bit quieter than some of the other blocks around here, which actually works out okay for what we do. We have been setting up this space for a while, putting things on the walls and arranging the displays so they don't look too cluttered. It is not a very big gallery, but we manage to fit a lot in. Some days are very slow and I just sit at the desk checking things or dusting the frames. Other times, a few people will wander in and spend an hour looking at everything. We don't really do big fancy openings or anything like that. It’s more of a place where you can just come in and look around without anyone hovering over your shoulder. The lighting in the back can be a bit tricky, and I’ve been meaning to fix that one flickering bulb for a week now. People ask a lot of questions about where the pieces come from, and I tell them what I know. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It feels like a small part of the neighborhood that hasn't changed much while everything else gets busier. Sometimes I rearrange the whole front window just to see if it makes a difference. It’s a lot of quiet work, but it feels right for this spot in the city.
