Lata Giri

I’m Lata Giri and my work is based out of 2001/17 Manimajra on Khetwadi Back Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, and you have to navigate the back roads to find us, but that’s part of the charm. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so setting up my business here felt like the natural thing to do. The space we have isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into it. It’s usually pretty busy, with people coming and going and things being moved around constantly. I’m not the type who likes having a sterile, perfect office environment. My desk is usually a bit of a mess, and there’s always a pot of tea on the go. We handle things as they come, rather than sticking to some rigid corporate schedule. The people who help me out here are all locals, and we talk about everyday things while we work. Khetwadi Back Road has its own character, and I think our little shop fits right into that. We don't do any big advertising or try to pull people in with flashy promises. We just do our work and let people decide for themselves if they like how we do things. It’s a simple life, but it keeps me busy and I enjoy the connections I’ve made with the neighbors over the years.
