Ics Engineering Private Limited is located in the Indira Arcade. Our unit is 4-B on Govindan Street. It’s in Ayyavoo Colony, which is a part of Aminjikarai. The building is a bit tucked away, so it can be hard to find if it’s your first time visiting. Govindan Street is quite narrow. If a truck is unloading, nobody else can pass through. We have a modest workspace. It’s mostly filled with spare parts, some tools, and old technical manuals. The walls are a bit stained from the years of work. We aren't one of those big engineering firms with a glass building. We are just a small team of people who know how to fix things. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our work comes from people we’ve known for years. The office gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to get a breeze. Sometimes the neighbor’s radio is a bit loud, but we don't mind. We have a small fridge for cold water and a hot plate for tea. We just show up and do what needs to be done. It’s a regular life for us. No big speeches or corporate goals. Just engineering work and helping people get their machines running again. Most of us come to work on scooters because parking a car around here is impossible.
