I Secure World

Our little shop is number 536 inside Janta Market. If you know Manimajra, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We’ve been here for a while now, tucked in among all the other stalls and businesses. It’s a small space, mostly filled with boxes of cameras, DVRs, and rolls of wire. We spend most of our time out at people’s houses or small shops nearby, setting things up so they can keep an eye on their property. Being in the market means there's always noise and something going on right outside the door. We usually have a tea in the morning from the stall nearby before we start checking our schedule. It’s a lot of manual work, climbing ladders and drilling holes in walls. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how the systems work. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time or a customer has a weird problem we haven't seen before, but we eventually figure it out. We don't do much advertising, mostly it's just people seeing the shop while they're buying groceries or clothes. The shelves are a bit dusty and the light in the back flickers sometimes, but it works for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s a living and we like being in the thick of the market action. We've been at this unit for years now.
