Gavri Infotech Private Limited is based at 2202, Sector 40-C in Chandigarh. This is a residential sector, so our office is actually situated within a house. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the industrial or commercial zones of the city. We have the usual setup of desks and computers in the rooms, and it’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes, but it works for a team of our size. There isn't a big flashy sign for Gavri Infotech on the gate, just the house number 2202, so people usually have to call us when they’re outside. We’ve been here for a while and we like the fact that it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate environment. There are trees on the street and you can hear the birds or the neighbors going about their day. We don’t have a cafeteria, so we usually just make something in the small kitchen or get food from the local market nearby. It’s a very simple and direct way of working. Sometimes the mailman gets a bit confused with the house numbers, but we eventually get our packages. The rooms are a bit cluttered with cables and old hardware, but that’s just the nature of what we do. We aren’t big on corporate formalities; we just come in, do our work, and head home. It’s a very local, grounded way to run our tech business in Chandigarh.
