Ganpati Marble

We are over in Sector 9, Phase II, right on Hosur Road. It’s a great spot for a marble business because people can see our yard from the road. We have been here for a long time, selling stone and tiles to people working on their homes or offices. It’s a dusty job, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We have all kinds of marble slabs stacked up, and we spend our time moving them around and showing them to whoever drops by. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom with a receptionist. You just walk into the yard and talk to whoever is free. We try to be helpful and tell people which stone might work better for what they are doing. Every piece of stone is different, and we enjoy showing the patterns and colors. Hosur Road is always loud with traffic, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to sell good stone and make sure people are happy with what they buy. It’s hard physical work, lifting and cutting slabs, but it feels good to see the finished results. We just take it one customer at a time.
