Ethos Summit

Being on the ground floor of Elante Mall in Industrial Area Phase I makes for a very different kind of workday. The mall opens around ten, but we are usually here a bit earlier to make sure everything is ready for when the first people walk in. The floors are polished until they shine, and the lighting is very precise to highlight the details of the watches in the glass cases. It is a quiet environment compared to the rest of the mall, which can get very loud on weekends with families and shoppers. We spend a lot of time standing and talking to people who are interested in the mechanics of high-end timepieces. It requires a lot of patience because people often come in just to look or ask questions about specific models. The security guard stands near the door, and we have to be very careful about how we handle the inventory. Everything is logged and tracked carefully. Behind the scenes, there is a small room where we keep the supplies and take our breaks. It is a very structured way to work. Even though it is a high-end setting, the staff is just a group of people who know a lot about watches and enjoy explaining how they work. Dealing with the mall management and the general flow of foot traffic keeps us on our toes. It is a long day, especially when the mall stays open late.
