Our office is located at C-25 in Sector-8, which is one of the older, more established parts of the city. We’re set up under the care of Raminder Kaur here. It’s a nice spot with plenty of old trees and wide roads. The office itself is quite basic. We didn’t go out and buy a bunch of expensive furniture or put up art on the walls. We just needed a place to sit with our laptops and a decent internet connection. Most of our days are spent staring at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It’s a small operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to fixing the router when it acts up. Sector-8 is a good location because it’s easy to get to from almost anywhere else in Chandigarh. There’s a sense of history in this sector that you don’t get in the newer areas. We don’t really do the whole corporate culture thing. No one wears a tie, and we don't have long meetings about nothing. We just talk across the room when something needs doing. It’s a very direct way of working. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and other times we leave early if the weather is nice. It’s just a local business trying to do its part without any extra fluff or noise. That is how we have always done things at Divarsh Tech.
