Dhiman Watch Co

The shop is located at 144 on the 4th Main Road in Bhuvaneshwari Nagar. It's right opposite the Government High School here in Manimajra. During the morning, I see all the kids walking to class and the parents dropping them off. It’s a lively part of the neighborhood. I’ve had Dhiman Watch Co running for quite some time now. I started out fixing cheap digital watches for the students, and now I handle just about anything that shows the time. The bench is always cluttered with tiny screws that I try not to lose. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be, so I use a very strong lamp. Most days are the same. I open up early, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer. Someone usually needs a strap adjusted because they bought a watch online and it doesn't fit right. Or a battery died. I keep a lot of spares in the drawers. It’s a small space, but it’s mine. I like being across from the school because there’s always something to look at. Sometimes the noise from the playground is loud, but it’s better than silence. I’ve lived in Manimajra my whole life. Fixing watches is just what I do. It pays the bills and keeps me busy. If you need a quick look at your watch, just cross the street from the school. I’m usually there until late most evenings.
