Our shop is tucked away at number 16 in the Hiren Industrial Estate on Madhya Marg. It is a bit of a busy area with lots of trucks and workers moving around all day. Inside, it is much quieter, except for the sound of clocks ticking on the walls. We have been working on watches and timepieces here for a long time. The workbench is usually covered in tiny parts, springs, and those small glass pieces that go over the watch face. It takes a lot of light to see what we are doing, so we have big lamps everywhere. Some days are just spent replacing batteries for people who work nearby. Other days, we get older clocks that haven't moved in years. The air always smells a bit like machine oil and metal. It is not a big showroom or anything. We have some shelves for the stuff waiting to be picked up and a few new pieces in the glass case at the front. The industrial estate gets pretty dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters to keep the dust off the movements. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to come in, but we just keep at it. People know us for being in this specific corner of the estate. It's a small space, but it fits everything we need for the work we do every day. We usually have the radio on low while we work through the pile of repairs on the desk.
