At 2277/2 Sector 45, you’ll find Dhiman Timers. It is a quiet little place because most of the work requires a lot of concentration and very small tools. We deal with all kinds of clocks and timing pieces. If you listen closely, you can hear a hundred different ticks and tocks happening at once. It’s a bit of a strange sound if you aren't used to it. The workbench is usually covered with tiny screws, springs, and gears that are hard to see without a magnifying glass. We spend hours bent over these small parts, trying to get things moving again. Sector 45 is where we have set up shop, and the space is filled with old wooden cases and some newer digital stuff too. It’s not a very big shop, so it feels a bit cramped when more than two people are inside. We don't have a lot of help, so it’s usually just one or two of us working away. The lighting has to be bright so we can see what we are doing, but the rest of the shop is pretty simple. People bring in things that have stopped working, and we take our time looking at them. It’s a slow process, but we aren't in a hurry. We just like fixing things and seeing them tick again. It is what we know. The days are long but we enjoy the quiet work.
