Chavi Enterprises

Our office is located at 3113 near the Chandigarh G.P.O., right at Shivdarshan Chowk. It’s a very busy corner of the city, and we’ve got a good view of the traffic from our window. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of notebooks scattered around. We do various types of enterprise work, mostly handling orders and coordinating between different people. It involves a lot of time on the telephone and writing out invoices by hand. We aren't into anything flashy. There are no expensive decorations or anything like that. We just focus on getting the work done. The G.P.O. being so close is a real help when we have to send out documents. We know the other folks who work in the building and sometimes we stop to chat in the hallway. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the stalls near the chowk. It’s a busy life, but it suits us. We aren't looking to change much, just to keep things moving along as they always have. It’s a modest operation, and we’re fine with that. Sometimes we forget to water the plant on the windowsill, but it seems to keep growing anyway.
