Bombay Times

Bombay Times is located at 386 in Sector-32 D. We are right in the middle of the residential area here, so we get a lot of local families coming in. It’s a straightforward shop. We have some glass cases where we keep the watches and a few clocks on the walls to show how they look when they are hung up. The space isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things. Usually, there’s a pile of newspapers on the side table and a cup of tea sitting near the workbench. We do a lot of small repairs, like taking links out of a chain or fixing a clasp that won't stay shut. It’s quiet work for the most part. The street outside can get busy when school lets out or when people are coming home from work in Sector 31 nearby. We’ve become a bit of a landmark for people living around here because we’ve been in this same spot for so long. We don’t go in for big decorations or anything like that. The walls are just plain, and we keep the tools we need within arm's reach. It’s a comfortable place to work. We know most of our customers by name, and they know where to find us if their watch stops ticking. It’s just a regular local shop doing what we know how to do. We usually open up early and stay until the evening light fades.
