Bharatsthali Private Limited is down in Chandigarh at SCO-842 on the ground floor in NAC Manimajra. If you have been to Manimajra, you know how busy the NAC area can get. Our space is right on the ground floor, which makes it easy for moving things in and out, but we are always fighting for parking space near the SCO. We deal with a lot of textiles, mostly sarees and traditional wear. The shop is usually full of boxes and half-unpacked bundles of cloth. It is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. The staff is usually busy folding fabric or helping someone find a specific color. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It is more like a typical Chandigarh market shop where things are a bit messy but we know where everything is. The fans are always running to keep the heat down, and there is a constant stream of people walking past the windows. Manimajra is a loud place with plenty of horns honking, but we just stay inside and get on with the inventory. We spend a lot of time checking the weaves and making sure the pieces are ready for the customers. It is just a regular day-to-day business where we handle the sarees and keep the records as best as we can. We have been here for a while and the routine stays the same.
