Ashwini Kalia

I’ve been running things here at 615 Sector 12 Midc for quite a while now. My name is Ashwini Kalia. People usually just drop by when they need something handled. It’s not a huge operation or anything fancy, just me and a couple of others keeping the lights on and doing the work. The building is right in the middle of the industrial area, so it gets pretty dusty and loud with all the trucks passing by. I started this place because I needed to make a living, and it just sort of grew from there. We don’t have a fancy front desk or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You’ll probably find me in the back messing with some paperwork or talking to a regular. Sometimes the phone rings and I can't get to it right away if I'm busy with a customer on the floor. It’s honest work, though. We try to get things done right the first time so people don't have to come back complaining. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is bad or the power goes out in the sector. We just keep plugging away at it. If you’re around the Midc area, you’ve probably seen our sign. It’s nothing special, but it gets the job done. I like being part of this neighborhood. The other shop owners are decent folks and we all look out for each other when things get quiet.
