A M Technologies is tucked away at 206 in Phase-II of the Industrial Area. If you’ve ever walked around Phase-II, you know it’s mostly just workshops and small manufacturing units. Our place is no different. It’s a bit dusty and the noise from the nearby shops is pretty constant, but that’s just the nature of being in an industrial zone. We’ve got our machines set up and we spend the majority of our day on the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find people wearing suits. We’re usually in work clothes and there’s always a bit of grease or metal shavings around. The building itself is quite old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times after the monsoon rains. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the area who know what we can do. Inside, there are a few benches, a small area for coffee, and our main equipment. It’s a functional space. We don’t waste money on things that don't help us get the parts out on time. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which gives us a few minutes to chat. It’s a tough environment but it feels real. It feels good when we fix things and make parts that actually work for people. We’ve been at this for years and plan to stay as long as there is metal to cut.
