Sadre Alam Leather Works

We are over at House No. 589, Gali No. 3 in Wazir Pur. Sadre Alam Leather Works has been our family’s focus for a long time. It’s a small place, and Gali No. 3 is a narrow street, so things can get a bit tight. We spend our days working with different kinds of leather. It’s messy work. There’s the smell of the hides and the noise of the hammers. We don’t have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll just see us working on the floor or at the old wooden tables. Sometimes the rain makes the street muddy, and it’s a bit of a pain to get materials in and out. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to finish the orders we have on the bench. Our tools are old but they still work fine. We’ve lived and worked in Wazir Pur for years, so we know everyone around here. It’s not a polished business with a marketing plan. We just know how to handle leather and that’s what we do. Some days are long, and our backs ache by the end of it, but it’s what we know. We just keep our heads down and get the work done in our little corner of the house.
