Running a shop like Jmk Leathers in the middle of Karol Bagh means things are always moving. Hardhian Singh Road is a busy place, and our little space at 3017/2 is always full of scraps and rolls of material. Honestly, the smell of leather is so strong here that I don’t even notice it anymore, though visitors usually mention it right away. We spend a lot of time just sorting through things and making sure we haven't lost anything in the piles. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, which is annoying, but we just open the door and keep working by the light from the street. It’s a family thing, really. My uncle started it, and now I’m here most days trying to keep the shelves organized, which never stays that way for long. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a practical workspace where we deal with people coming in and out all day. Some of our customers have been coming here for years, and they know where everything is better than I do sometimes. Karol Bagh is loud and crowded, but it’s where we belong. If you’re looking for us, look for the stack of crates near the entrance. We try to be honest about what we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we just say so. It saves everyone a lot of time and trouble in the long run.
