A. One Leathers

We are over at 8/A on Vepery High Road in the Periamet area. Periamet is known for its history with leather, and A. One Leathers is right in the middle of it. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we are working on at the time. Vepery High Road is always buzzing with activity, especially with all the other leather shops and businesses nearby. You can often smell the leather as soon as you step into the street. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and stacks of material. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming to us for years. We spend our days cutting, sorting, and talking to suppliers. It’s dusty work and our hands usually have some stains on them by the end of the day. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside during a break and watch the bikes go by. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We don't use computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in paper ledgers. That’s just the way we like to run things at A. One Leathers. It’s honest work and we are proud to be part of the Periamet community. Every day is a bit different but always involves the same familiar smells and sounds.
