Vishal Enginering Works

You can find us at Plot Number 2 in Gali Number 3 of Krishna Colony. Vishal Enginering Works is a small shop where the sound of metal being cut or welded is pretty common. It is a bit cramped inside with all the machinery and the raw steel waiting to be used. We don’t have a big sign or a polished entrance. Most people just follow the noise or ask someone in the Gali where we are. We do a lot of custom jobs, fixing broken parts or making new ones from scratch for local factories. My hands are usually stained with grease, and there are metal shavings all over the floor that we sweep up at night. It’s a tough way to make a living, but we enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to fix a machine that someone else gave up on. We’ve been in this colony for years and have seen it change a lot. The neighbors are used to us by now. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is just manual skill and looking at the part with your own eyes. It is honest work and we stay busy from morning till late. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, but usually, we are grinding away. We don't mind the noise and the hard work, as long as the pieces fit together like they are supposed to in the end.
