Manoj Engineering Works

Manoj Engineering Works is located at 50/12 in Gali No 1 of Anand Parbat. It is a busy little corner where there is always the sound of someone grinding or welding something. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time, and it has become our second home. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, which is pretty standard for an engineering shop like ours. People know us in Gali No 1 because we are always around, even when the weather is bad or it’s a quiet holiday. It isn’t a very big space at 50/12, so we have to be careful about how we stack the machines and the spare parts so nobody trips over anything. We usually have a cup of tea around eleven when the local tea stall guy walks by with his kettle. Most of the day is just spent fixing things or trying to figure out a problem with a piece of equipment someone brought in. The lighting inside could be better, but we know where everything is kept by heart. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big order comes in, but we manage to get it sorted. There isn't much time for talking unless it's about the work at hand, and we like it that way. Just a plain engineering shop doing what needs doing every day.
