Venus Machine

Our workshop, Venus Machine, is found at Pp-47 in the Anand Parbat area. This is a part of the city where a lot of making and fixing happens, and we have been a part of that for many years. We have several old machines that we use for various manufacturing and repair tasks. The place is usually quite loud with the sound of metal being cut or ground down. There is a certain smell of machine oil and iron that never really leaves the shop. We don't have an office with a computer or anything like that. Most of our records are kept in a simple notebook on a workbench. It is a gritty environment, and we usually go home with some dirt under our fingernails. We don't mind it because it means we have been productive. We don't spend any time on advertising or trying to look corporate. Most of our customers find us because someone else told them we do decent work. We try to be honest about how long a job will take and how much it will cost. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a part for a customer who is in a hurry, and we don't mind doing that. It is just the way things are done in Anand Parbat. We are just a bunch of people who like working with machines and solving problems the old-fashioned way.
