Universal Engineering Works

We are located at Anand Parbat, specifically in Gali No 4 at K 29/Q. If you know this area, you know it’s full of workshops and small factories. It’s a noisy place with the sound of machines running all day long. Our space isn't very big, but we have enough room for the equipment we need to do our work properly. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or oil, which is just how an engineering shop looks when work is actually happening. We don't spend much time cleaning up for show, only when it's necessary for safety or to find a tool that went missing under a bench. Most days are spent hunched over a machine or looking at a part that needs fixing. It’s practical, hands-on work. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist in a suit. If someone walks in, they usually just shout over the noise until one of us looks up and wipes our hands on a rag. We like the grit of Gali No 4. It’s a place where people actually make things with their hands. We stay busy with whatever comes through the door. Some days it’s a lot of small jobs for neighbors and other days it’s one big project that takes up the whole floor space. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks.
